How to use 2D & 3D modes

2D Mode

Tap any panel on the map to add or remove it individually. Grey outlines are inactive panels you can click to activate.
Drag the slider to quick-select the top N highest-producing panels.
Edit segment angles in the Panel Layout panel — type a new tilt or azimuth and hit Apply to rotate every panel in that segment.
Switch to Ground Mount to manually click-place panels on land, drag to reposition, or duplicate rows/columns.
Draw obstructions to mark chimneys, vents, or skylights — panels inside will be excluded from production.

3D Mode

Click N / E / S / W in the top-right corner to orbit the house at a 45° angle from each compass direction.
Drag the view to rotate · scroll to zoom · right-click drag to pan the camera.
Click any panel in 3D to add or remove it — same as 2D mode. Inactive panels show as faint outlines you can re-enable.
Auto-loads first when you pick an address. Falls back to 2D if Google Photorealistic 3D Tiles aren't available for the location.
Click the 2D toggle button to switch to flat editing mode — your choice is remembered for future addresses.
